In which my clients wax lyrical on how my services have added value to what they do, and generally made the world a more wondrous place.

Ceri Black, Head of Learning, National Museum Wales

We’ve been producing leaflets telling schools all about what we can offer them, for each of our 7 museums for years now. We found ourselves in need of a new designer who could give us a fresh and improved look, while being sensitive to our brand and the style we have developed that is recognised by schools. Caroline gave us exactly that. She was attentive to our requirements, while bringing her own experience and flare to the work. She was also incredibly easy to work with and very competitive on price.  Our museums are happy with the improved marketing product, teachers like the design and our visitor figures are holding up or improving – in a schools visit market that’s generally declining.

Noreen Blanluet of Be Amazing Today:

I first met you in a social context and we connected on Facebook. Even though we didn’t interact an enormous amount directly, it was enough for me to decide that I liked your approach – great quality work, combined with a no-nonsense, direct, connected, rounded worldwiew and (dare I say even) holistic, in the sense that you consider the whole-person-picture when you work with them. This has certainly been my experience through all the work you’ve done for me.

In a nutshell, I’d say you combine very solid design skills with talented illustration abilities and an unerring intuition – a kickass combination which means you deliver not only excellent quality products, but ones that hit the exact sweet spot they’re meant to.

You made the process [of designing a logo] very painless for me because you completely allowed me to go back and forth with tweaks and changes until it was perfectly right, so I didn’t feel pressured to settled for a merely good-enough version.

Emma Jane Richards on V-Day London

Caroline is an excellent designer. At V-Day London we needed a high quality design with very short notice for our upcoming festival – Caroline stepped into the breach and provided us with beautiful design results beyond our expectations. She is both efficient and creative – doing business with her is an absolute pleasure.

Richard Tierney on his Demanding Women project

Caroline did several things for the development of the Demanding Women brand.

First, her questioning helped me to clarify what the purpose of the company should be. Any new venture needs clarity of purpose, and briefing Caroline helped us achieve that clarity. Second, she is (doh!) a woman, so it was perfect that she was the first person we exposed ourselves to, so to speak. Then there was the execution of the brand and its logo, a  kind of funnel-like process where you get to alter the funnel as you go. Finally, when it came for the production of our business cards, Caroline built on the initial logo design to produce a piece of work which really encapsulated where we were with the project.

The company is now set up in Singapore. It is impossible to overstate the importance given to business cards in the Far East. Without exception the logo and the cards got the right reaction from both investors, and suppliers. They opened doors.

Peter Bartram on the logo I created for New Venture Publishing

When I wanted somebody to design the logo and corporate identity for New Venture Publishing, I didn’t need to look far. Caroline Duffy had worked with me on a magazine (I’ve been editing them for 35 years) and she’d been by far the best designer I’d ever encountered. Caroline’s designs for New Venture Publishing project just the kind of lively and modern image we want. Besides, she created for us a range of online stationery which means we’ve saved hundreds of pounds in print bills. I strongly recommend her.

Mark Samuels, Editor on my designing of & illustrating for CIO Connect magazine

Caroline’s designs are an integral and crucial aspect of CIO Connect magazine. More than just providing an attractive layout, Caroline’s bespoke page designs make every feature feel unique and important. She has a wonderful eye for detail and can be trusted to create eye-catching designs from, at times, quite technical and dry briefs. Her final designs really help ensure CIO Connect magazine looks different. Rather than just being yet another business magazine, the final product looks different without resorting to cliché. Caroline really is great.

Dr Kerstin Schmidt on her website, honeyspring.co.uk

Just to say how much I have appreciated your design work on my website. It was brilliant throughout. I especially want to honour your creativity, your commitment, your willingness to keep working and absolutely go the distance no matter what. I’ll be very happy to recommend you to my colleagues wholeheartedly. You are so meant to do work like this.
